Gently place the CPU into the socket, ensuring it is seated evenly and

completely.

     Secure the CPU:

     Once the CPU is correctly positioned, lower the socket lever or engage

the retention mechanism.

     Apply gentle downward pressure to secure the CPU in place. The lever

should easily lock into position, or the retention mechanism should click

into place.
